Server

​

As server you will be the main point of contact for our customers, from when they enter the bar, sit down, and until they leave the establishment.  As a server your job is to provide a fun, approachable, and knowledgeable service experience to our guests as you take their orders and answer any question about the menu -- making recommendations as-needed.  Finally, you must enter fast, accurate orders into the POS and deliver the drinks to the guests at their table promptly.  Along the entire experience, we want our servers to be personable, building a rapport with the customers to ensure they have a memorable experience and are inclined to revisit.

Primary Responsibilities:

​

• Greet our guests! -- Acknowledge, engage and welcome customers into the bar and to their table

• Efficient with orders! -- Being able to ring fast, accurate orders from customers into the POS and process transactions quickly

• Know our menu in and out -- Must maintain an expert knowledge of our menu and offerings, and able to walk our guests through the menu when needed, offer tailored recommendations to customers as needed, and promote featured items 

• Manage large groups -- Must maintain composure and an upbeat service while efficiently serving large groups through attentive service, detailed order taking, and quality checks of the drinks before they are delivered.  Also ensure all tabs have a credit card to eliminate unpaid tabs.

• Always take responsibility for ensuring a positive guest experience.

• Sanitize and clean your tables, bar area surfaces, and  organization and cleanliness of the entire space

• Complete closing duties -- This includes storing all reusable goods, breaking down goods, cleaning all equipment and areas.  Return all equipment to proper locations, locking refrigerators, restocking items, turning off lights, locking doors and completing bar closing checklist.

Secondary Responsibilities:

​

• R&D - Participate in creation of new menu items; Taste test and provide concise feedback

• Continual improvement -- Contribute to a culture of continual improvement, be responsible for identifying and providing creative solutions to make the job and overall bar operations more efficient for the entire team

• Stock and maintain the bar with all the required supplies and inventory (eg: beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice cubes etc.)

• Perform any other assigned reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned or as requested by Supervisors or manager.
