Location: New Food Truck Concept
Position: Line Cook & Cashier (Full-time & Part-time)
Reports to: Executive Chef
Team: Back of House, Front of House
Status: Full-time-37.5 hours, Part-time-15 hours
Compensation : Starting at $13-15/hour + Tips
About Us: We are a new food truck concept located in the heart of OTR. As a small company looking to expand quickly, we want to find the right people to grow with us. Due to the close-quarters nature of our setup, teamwork and positivity are our #1 priority in building this team!
We have multiple food truck concepts opening over the next 3 months and are looking to grow the team as well as the business. These concepts will have permanent partner locations at local bars, so no moving around for the next rush. This position will have responsibilities to one concept, but will have the opportunity to learn and grow with the others. We are looking for motivated line cooks interested in growing. The position will be required to:
Coordinate with Executive Chef on prep and order needs
Organize and stock truck according to service needs
Operate the truck during service
Ensure compliance with all sanitation and safety regulations
Coordinate with partner location management
Ensure proper service standards are met for both quality and customer service
Communicate with customers in a safe and courteous manner
Full-time/part-time shifts available
Must be willing to work nights and weekends
Must have great communication skills while working with the public and other team members
1-2 years line cook experience is preferred, but we will also accept applicants with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn!
