Position: Food Truck & Event Catering Manager (Full-time & Part-time)

Job Description

Position: Food Truck & Event Catering Manager 

Status: Full-time (40 hours per week)

Compensation :$20/hour + Tips ($100 monthly stipend for health insurance)


Benefits: 10 Days of PTO accrued per calendar year

About Us:


We are a new food truck concept located in the heart of OTR. As a small company looking to expand quickly, we want to find the right people to grow with us. Due to the close-quarters nature of our setup, teamwork and positivity are our #1 priority in building this team!


Job Responsibilities:

  • Organize and stock truck according to service needs

  • Operate the truck during service

  • Ensure compliance with all sanitation and safety regulations

  • Must have great communication skills while working with the public and other team members

  • Plan for and purchase food for daily operations.

  • Maintain required records including food production, inventory, income/expense, meal counts and personnel records.

  • Ensure food truck staff members follow proper sanitation procedures.

  • Manage food truck employees, including cooks, food preparers, cashiers, and other employees.

  • Keep records of supplies and purchases.

  • Hire, recruit, and train employees.

  • Continuously identifies future catering team members and develops accordingly.

  • Communicates with vendors, suppliers, and clients in a prompt and professional manner.


Job Requirements:

  • Experience in Catering Operations

  • Ability to stand on feet for extended periods of time and lift up to 40 pounds

  • Superior organizational skills, with acute attention to detail

  • Ability to problem solve, prioritize, manage multiple and changing timelines, and multi-task with limited supervision while meeting established timelines.

  • High level of interpersonal skills

  • Delivers results for which he/she is accountable

  • Dependability, flexibility and professional demeanor

  • Maintains high standards of personal ethics; is consistently honest and truthful in all situations

  • Communicates with enthusiasm and maintains a positive attitude
